Description
This dataset contains data of floral and faunal surveys of intertidal zone along the rocky coast of the southeastern part of Osaka Bay, eastern extremity of the Inland Sea of Japan, carried out annually at several stations by Association for the Research of Littoral Organisms in Osaka Bay (OKKJP). The survey is conducted for several hours during the spring low tide at each station, generally with at least 20 participants recording species by visual observation. Summarized data for every five years are published in Shizenshi-Kenkyu, Occasional Papers from the Osaka Museum of Natural History.
Data Records
The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 109,545 records.
This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.
